Gabriel Valley lies in eastern Los Angeles
County, at the base of the San Gabriel
Mountains. Once a primarily agricultural
valley, it is now highly developed, and is
mostly urban and suburban in nature.
Lying in
the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains, the
San Gabriel Valley covers over 400 square
miles.
East of
the city of Los Angeles.
North of
the Puente Hills – the foothills running
south and parallel to the I-60 (Pomona)
freeway.
South of
the San Gabriel Mountains. The Cities of
Pasadena, Monterey Park and So. Pasadena
border on the West.
