Valley Economic Partnership:
The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership’s Business Assistance Program provides individualized, one-on-one support and assistance to businesses located in or relocating to the San Gabriel Valley.
The Partnership
is uniquely positioned to help businesses take
full advantage of all the San Gabriel Valley
has to offer. Through a coalition of business
service providers, local governments, utilities,
and economic development organizations, the
Partnership offers professional and confidential
assistance free-of-charge. The Partnership assists
business decision-makers and their consultants
representing high growth manufacturing, distribution
and service industries. Because of the Partnership’s
efforts, it has been able to assist in the creation
and/or retention of over 15,000 direct jobs
in the San Gabriel Valley over the last 3 years.
The Partnership's
Business Assistance Program is a great source
for factual and timely information on a broad
range of business development and location factors
including:
- Site selection
- Community profiles, economic/demographic
information, taxes and fee abatements
- Incentive zones (Enterprise, Revitalization,
Empowerment, Foreign Trade and Redevelopment)
- Labor market information, job training
resources
- Utility and transportation services
- Public financing programs (local, state,
federal) including industrial development
bonds
The Partnership's
Director of Business Assistance acts as a confidential
liaison between the business and local governments
and agencies to facilitate timely and effective
project development.

The Los Angeles
– San Gabriel Valley Small Business Development
Center is hosted by Mt. San Antonio College
and has served the small business community
since the early 1990s. The Small Business Development
Center (SBDC) program is currently the largest
management and technical assistance program
in the United States, serving the small business
sector, with over 1,000 SBDCs located throughout
