The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership has partnered with the U.S. Commercial Service to offers opportunities for companies in the San Gabriel Valley region access to international trade information and resources available form the Commercial Service.

The U.S. Commercial Service’s mission is to support U.S. companies interested in exporting their goods and services around the world. With the help of their global network of more than 100 U.S. offices and more than 80 international locations, they assist companies in the following areas:

  • Build an export business plan and research new markets for your products and services.
  • Identify and refer trade leads and international trade partners. Services in this category include the International Partner Search, Gold Key Service matching, Buyusa.com and Commercial news magazine.
  • Assist in finding the best financing options from federal, state and private finance firms.
  • Provide information about local and international trade regulations that affect your products and services.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on possible trade shows and trade opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.

The CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College provides one-on-one International Trade (Export & Import) counseling/technical assistance and training to businesses of the non-coastal areas of Los Angeles County. The staff and consultant team members of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College all have extensive international trade (export & import) practical experience. Established in 1990, the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College is a joint economic development project of the Chancellor’s Office of the California Community Colleges – Economic and Workforce Development Program, and Citrus College.
